Forbidden Art began in January 2017 as an online collection of graffiti, street art and the personal stories behind each piece. Graffiti is often created without permission in public spaces, while the sub-genre street art usually involves politically, criminal or philosophical themes.  The stories written here include first hand accounts from the artists themselves as well as investigative journalism on these very elusive artists. The features on “Forbidden Art” are best interpreted with your own ideology and analytical views for the art to truly come alive to each individual.
